Application: These cables are designed for use in conduits and fixed, protected installations. They are particularly well-suited for environments prone to fire and explosion, such as chemical plants, densely wired areas, public buildings, educational institutions, hospitals, commercial complexes, theatres, and other similar establishments.
Specifications: The cables generally conform to IS-8130:2013, IS-694:2010, and IS-5831:1984 standards.
Marking: Each cable is clearly printed with the identification “JP CABLES & WIRES HR-FR (Size) 1100V IS:694 CM/L NO-8381482” and features meter-by-meter marking on every coil for precise measurement.
Colour Options: Available in Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Grey, and White.
Packaging: Standard packaging includes 90-meter coils packed in protective cartons for sizes up to 6 sq. mm. Project-specific packaging of 180-meter coils is also available.
Length Marking: Each coil is equipped with computerized meter marking to ensure exact length and quality assurance.
Conductor: The conductor is composed of multiple fine strands of high-quality electrolytic copper, simultaneously drawn to maintain uniform resistance, dimension, and flexibility. These strands are twisted and compacted using high-precision machinery, ensuring a circular profile and preventing strand separation. This minimizes internal pressure on the insulation when the cable is bent during installation and use.
Insulation: The insulation is made from a specially formulated heat-resistant PVC compound with a temperature rating of 105°C, allowing the cable to withstand overloads without compromising safety. Its flame-retardant (FR) properties prevent flame propagation. Additionally, the insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam, and vapors, making it highly durable and preventing premature aging and cracking in environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls, and chemical industries.
